6e878920d5 Avoid working with optional testing executables from old builds 
If the testing flags are switched ON and then OFF, optional executables
are deleted from the install folder. If the flag is switched to ON
again, executables are rebuild and copied to the install folder.

1b98e7dcad position fix: First combined GPS + GLONASS position solution 
First positon fix using a combination of GLONASS and GPS data in

e636bba59a position fix: First GLONASS position fix 
First GLONASS L1 C/A position fix using GNSS-SDR. Fixes bug in toe
reporting for GLONASS and cleans up the code a bit. Small bug with
RINEX file still present but achievement deserves its own commit.

Adds settings in rtklib code to parse GLONASS measurements in `obs_t`
and 'nav_t' structures. It also adds the time of day field in gnav eph

ba3d7bfcd8 Added 'blocking' option to pcps_acquisition_cc 
Using C++ 11 threading routines to create a worker thread that can
perform the FFT for acquisition in a non-blocking manner. By default
'blocking' is set to true, which is identical to the previous behaviour
(with the added overhead of an extra thread). When 'blocking' is set to
false, then the main thread does not wait for the worker, thereby
letting the receiver continue even when the FFT thread is working. This
is very useful for using FFT acquisition at higher sampling rates, where
the FFT cannot be performed in real-time.

The aim is to replace the separate pcps_multithread_acquisition_cc.

TODO: implement the same thing for the pcps_acquisition_sc

2946d36f84 bugfix: Solves shared freq channel ambiguity and carr freq in plots 
Adds code to solve the shared frequency channels for GLONASS satellites
during acq and trk, it is now decode responsability to fix the identifier
when decoding of ephemeris happens. It also adds more details in tracking
plotting and fixes silly bug that created false alarm.

dc18980194 The global parameter name GNSS-SDR.internal_fs_hz has been replaced by 
GNSS-SDR.internal_fs_sps

The old name was misleading, since the units are samples per second and
not Hertz. 

Backward compatibility is kept, so this change does not break any
existing configuration.

0253f4ba05 Merge remote-tracking branch 'upstream/common_solver' into next 
This commit Integrates RTKLIB positioning libraries in a universal PVT
block implementation called RTKLIB_PVT. This results in an improved
positioning accuracy and precision with a wide range of options
(including Precise Point Positioning and ionospheric/troposphreic
models).

Not all the RTKLIB features have been ported. Some of them will be
progressively added. The ported options and how to configure them have
been documented in the website, see
http://gnss-sdr.org/docs/sp-blocks/pvt/

This commit also introduces a multi-band, multi system Observables block
implementation.

Relevant architectural changes that reduce latency and makes
multi-system, multi band signal handling easier.

Redundant blocks have been deleted. Old configurations are automatically
redirected to the new blocks for Observables and PVT, so the commit does
not break any existing configuration. The user should just notice a
relevant improvement in positioning performance.

95ffcd3ac0 Improve portability 
In some architectures (e.g. alpha, hppa, powerpcspe, m68k,  sh4, sparc64, x32) the package gr-osmosdr is not available. So when the package is build with -DENABLE_OSMOSDR=ON, it breaks on the mentioned architectures. This is expected behaviour (it breaks because a required dependency is not found), but prevents from building the package on such architectures. This commit introduces a small change: when compilation is called with

cmake -DENABLE_OSMOSDR=ON -DENABLE_PACKAGING=ON ..

then, the compilation does not break if gr-osmosdr is not found.

This commit also fixes building when UHD is present but gnuradio-uhd is not (for instance, in hurd-i386)

cec063f360 Prints fake IODE and IODC in GPS L2C-only RINEX navigation files 
IODE and IODC are not defined in CNAV. If set to zero, tools such as
RTKLIB are not able to compute position. With this commit, we write a
fake value that changes whenever Toe in message types 10 and 11, and Toc
in types 30-37, do not match.

0362476864 Merging gnss-sdr/rinex_fix branch 
This commit rewrites the way pseudoranges are computed, now accounting for the receiver clock offset. It also adds more work in the QA code. If extra tests are activated by -DENABLE_UNIT_TESTING_EXTRA=ON or -DENABLE_SYSTEM_TESTING_EXTRA=ON, additional raw data files, a software-defined signal generator and GPSTk 2.9 are downloaded. Many fixes and code refactoring in tracking blocks.

-DENABLE_UNIT_TESTING  (defaults to ON): Builds unit tests
-DENABLE_SYSTEM_TESTING  (defaults to OFF): Builds system tests
-DENABLE_SYSTEM_TESTING_EXTRA (defaults to OFF): Builds extra tools (a
software-defined signal generator and GPSTk) and extra system tests
-DENABLE_OWN_GPSTK (defaults to OFF): forces a local download and builds
GPSTk even if it is already installed in your system.

If ENABLE_SYSTEM_TESTING_EXTRA is set to ON, then ENABLE_SYSTEM_TESTING
is also set to ON automatically.

This commit removes the option ENABLE_SW_GENERATOR

8d8249247f Alternative fix for issue #31 
Rather than changing the index type to uint16_t, I think it would be
better to use the volk_32f_index_max32* functions instead of the 16 bit
counterparts. This ensures backwards compatibility (the index was
previously 32 bit, even if the function name indicated that it was 16
bit) and also, for FFT acquisition we may encounter large FFTs with more
than 65 535 points

5a73b4e047 Improve package reproducibility 
Packages using CMake often use file(GLOB ...) to retrieve a list of
source files. As this is based on readdir(), the resulting file list
is unsorted. A common use case is to pass this list directly to
add_executable or add_library. But as the order is unpredictable, the
binaries are not reproducible (because the order in which the objects
are linked will vary).

Rename "shift_resolution_" variable in some Acquisition adapters to

Managing memory with volk_gnsssdr instead of malloc and free. This seems

a3d7683c85 Fix segmentation fault of volk_gnsssdr_profile in 32-bit architectures 
Temporal deactivation of the unaligned protokernel of the multiple
correlator. It does not affect receiver's performance. The commit

26ff3dbe1c main returns 0 upon normal ternimation 
The return value for main should indicate how the program exited. Normal
exit is generally represented by a 0 return value from main. Abnormal
termination is usually signalled by a non-zero return but there is no
standard for how non-zero codes are interpreted

ea35f33c83 Added native input sample interface support for 16 bits integer complex 
in PCPS_Acquisition (added the _sc variant). Now the PCPS acquisiton
adapter requires no conversion when the receiver works with 16 bits
integer complex samples.

5a716840ab tracking dll pll cAid can work now with gr_complex and cshort just 
setting the data imput type in config file. All the internal receiver
signal chain can work in complex short for the first time. Speed

5743f0f631 fix defect detected by coverity scan 
aStr->find('.', startPos) can return a negative number, but idx was
passed to a parameter that cannot be negative. Now the function returns
the string as is in case of no decimal point found.

286ee3b561 Integrating the RTCM printer 
Now the Galileo E1 receiver generates RTCM messages 1045 (ephemeris) and
MSM7 / 1097 (observables). Parameters related to RTCM included in conf
files. The TCP/IP server can be activated by setting flag_rtcm_server to
true.

26b18c19ee Added a generic tracking_loop_filter class 
This implements a generic loop filter. Based on the analog PLL filters
from Kaplan and Hegarty, with a bilinear (Tustin's) transform from
s-plane to z-plane ( 1/s -> T/2 ( 1 + z^-1 )/( 1 - z^-1 ) )

Also added tests. Note the "truth" outputs
were derived from an Octave implementation of the loop filter and
Octave's builtin filter function

b95219dbc6 Added two Carrier_rotate correlator utilities 
1) Carrier_rotate_and_EPL_volk

This is a very efficient VOLK based carrier wipeoff and
Early/Prompt/Late correlation. The carrier wipe off is done using the
VOLK rotator functions, which means there is no need to generate a local
replica sinusoid.

2) Carrier_rotate_and_VEPL_Volk

This adds Very Early/Early/Prompt/Late/Very Late correlation with the
VOLK rotator implementation of carrier wipe-off

086118c4aa Improvements to gnss_flowgraph 
1) Fixed a bug in gnss_signal::compare

The signal string comparison was not correct.

2) Fix for gnss_flowgraph when satellites are specified

3) Better handling of acquisition in flow graph

Now PRNs are alternated amongst channels, so we don't get 'stuck' on a
particular PRN, and we don't miss out on PRNs that are assigned to
channels that come after a channel that is always in the acquisition state.

4) Added SYS.prns to config file.

Now we can specify which PRNs are available in the configuration, rather
than re-compiling. Particularly useful for debugging, or experimenting
with files where you already know which signals are present

This was 16, I'm processing data at about 16MHz, this oversampling
factor caused memory allocation issues

3ca18df229 Added unpack_2bit_samples 
This is a generic gnuradio block for handling 2 bit samples packed into
bytes or shorts. It can handle big or little endian ordering of the
samples within the byte, as well as big or little endian ordering of the
bytes within a short.

This is a utility function for a generic sample source which will be
able to handle all of these cases for both real and complex signals.
