"Single tiddler mode" fixes a long-standing problem with the ''zoomin'' story view whereby although only a single tiddler was displayed at once, all previously navigated tiddlers were actually open, but hidden. This had a significant effect on performance, and a number of unexpected side-effects that hampered usability.
Single tiddler mode changes navigation to replace the story list with the target tiddler, rather than the usual behaviour of adding the target tiddler to the story list. It is engaged automatically when selecting the ''zoomin'' story view.
