An orbital mind control laser (OMCTL) is a kind of [[orbital laser]] specialized for mind control applications, used for both wide-scale suppression of [[inconvenient behaviour]] and targeted, selective modifications. As many as █████ OMCTL units are believed to be operating, with an estimated total of ███████ independently directable beams. By symmetry, orbital mind control lasers can operate in reverse mode, in which they read out mental contents rather than writing to them: this is essential to standard read-modify-write operations.

Orbital mind control lasers have used a wide range of different mechanisms as technology has progressed, from laser-induced directed ultrasonic pulses to quantum immortality to localized electrical communistic/capitalistic pair production. Current GTech™ systems are based on the principle of remotely laser-constructed metaapiocryoapioforms.
